mLINQS commends the
President's "Executive Order - Promoting Efficient
Spending" (here).
mLINQS applauds this effort and already fully supports
our government customers in complying with the
President's Order in the area of travel and relocation
spending. The Order states that "each agency should
review its policy associated with domestic civilian
permanent change of duty station travel
(relocations), to identify ways to reduce costs and
ensure appropriate controls are in place."
The Administration also reminds
government to be "a good steward of taxpayer money"
by "cutting waste in Government spending and
identifying opportunities to promote efficient and
effective spending." Specifically, the
administration requires each agency to focus on their
travel spend by designating a "senior level official
to be responsible for developing and implementing
policies and controls to ensure efficient spending on
travel."
"Efficient spending is a must in
government," says Greg McIntyre, President of mLINQS,
LLC. "Our relocation management solution is already
providing customers with the necessary tools to fully
comply with the Executive Order. We are looking forward
to helping other agencies as they seek to comply with
this new directive from the President."
