mLINQS employs a team of highly-skilled,
experienced professionals recognized
for their ability to help Federal agencies achieve their
goals and objectives in an era of change. Our team
brings many years of collective knowledge to bear on
every engagement helping our clients solve their most
challenging issues. We learn from each project and
then apply what we have learned to continuously improve
upon the results we achieve. While mLINQS is a
very effective partner to our federal clients, we also
bring a fresh perspective to many of the important
issues our customers face. We offer
the following opinions on some of the current topics and
challenges facing the government today.
Relocation Lump Sum
Reimbursement
There has been recent
debate over the merits of "lump sum" entitlements
for federal government relocations. mLINQS
believes strongly that the use of lump sum
entitlements are not necessary nor will it offer
government of any guarantee of a more cost effective
relocation program. In fact the opposite is
true, lump sum could end up costing the government
in overpayments or discourage bright and talented
employees from relocating out of concern that they
will be underpaid. To learn more about our

The current E-Gov
Travel Service (ETS) is a qualified success that
leaves much room for improvement. Despite a
master contract that calls for "technological
refreshment" from the three vendors, the current
solutions are aging quickly and agencies are ready
for something better. mLINQS believes that the
government must play a stronger role in developing
standards rather than hoping the private sector will
bring a solution to the market that magically hits
the mark. To learn more about our position on
this issue, follow the link and download our
position paper on the subject.
